Printing after upgrade to El Capitan (EPSON)

I have seen quite a few posts on the problems with printing and the El Capitan upgrade.

However, much to my chagrin, I have not been able find any response to Epson Printers...well, mine is the WP 4540 (my HP Wired 2605n Laser printer works fine)...and it refuses to print..

Tried everything possible.

- Removed and reinstalled printers

- Downloaded and installed "new" drivers from Epson (I thought they were new..as they did say they were compatible with OS 10.11!! - epson16345.dmg)

Just about given up...

Anybody with any pointers / help?

Many thanks

My network is all Wi-fi. And I use an Airport Extreme as my router.

I called Epson and they sent me some drivers (via the Apple Website)...

I changed my DHCP router settings and made a reservation for my Printer. That, together, with the new drivers (though it does not say it is for El Capitan) allowed my Printer to be recognised, and now printing works well.

Thanks for taking the effort to respond. Much appreciated.
