Album artwork quandary

With the latest iTunes update, I can't seem to get album artwork loaded. I've got iTunes set to automatically add artwork for any cd I rip that it's got artwork for. However, it now won't add artwork for the albums I rip. This is true even if I confirm that iTunes has the album in question and that all spelling, punctuation, spacing, etc. is identical. It's irritating! Any ideas?
