Q: El captain draining my MacBook Air Battery

I don't know what to do, I updated my late 2014 macbook air which had an excellent battery life and now the battery is draining so quickly. 15 mins on safari reading , 1% down. I do not have a lot of files on my air. I don't know what is going on. Can anyone help me ?

I only have Microsoft office 2016 installed on my macbook air. I have to have MS office. I had it before and did not have any issues with the battery.
