I have a Macbook Pro running OS X Yosemite V 10.10.5
I'm using Firefox 41.0.1and Logitec M570 Trackball.
My problem is that the cursor on the Mac is moving on its own.
At times it changes things by itself and keeps messing with the zoom on Firefox.
I've tried cleaning the contact points on the Trackball but keeps doing the same.
Any advice?

The Mac uses "all devices active" when concerned with pointing devices and keyboards. A wacom tablet with the pen parked on it is the most frequent complaint about spurious input.
Does your MacBook have a swollen battery? that has been known to use the trackpad to malfunction.
Nothing swollen on the case, not that I can see.
It just keeps moving and clicking on stuff on its own.
Do y have the problem when you unplug the trackball?
If the problem goes away then problem with the trackball
No, it still does it even when the trackball is turned off.
I downloaded the drivers from Logitech but it still does it.
Did you unplug the trackball?
Does this happen in Safe Mode
