Share My Location indefinitely not working

My wife and I both have Share My Location turned on, and she shows up on my phone under Friends that I share my location with, and on her phone it is the same. I can always see her location, but she cannot see mine...ever. (let the jokes pour in...lol)

I've tried to troubleshoot it, but I just can't figure it out.

Restrictions are turned off completely on my phone, and she still can't see me. I can manually send her my location from maps via imessage and that works fine.

I don't get it.

This happened on both iOS 8 and 9.

She has a 4s, and I have a 6.
