Q: I can't get rid of 'No SIM Card installed' since update

Re: recent update to iPad

I get this message: Update Completed etc and 'continue.  Can't continue because I've got in a white box 'No SIM Card installed' and when I press OK nothing happens.  That box will not go away despite repeated tries.  I have now a non-functioning iPad.

Anmy ideas?

iPad, iOS 8.3

    Hi, woodsetts.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand that you are receiving an alert that a SIM card is not installed.  Is there a SIM card in your device or has it been removed?  If it has been removed or you are still receiving this alert, get another SIM from your carrier and see if this resolves the issue.  If the issue persists, try the remaining steps in the article below.

If you get an alert about the SIM card

    Cheers
