Q: iTunes won't restore my iPhone 6 on iOS 9.0.2

iTunes won't restore my iPhone 6. It's on iOS 9.0.2, and every time i restore it, it takes a long time extracting software (iTunes stops responding at this time). It did manage to make it past that point once, but then took ages at "iPhone is syncing". It eventually timed out.

This happens EVERY TIME i try to restore my iPhone. I have reinstalled iTunes (v12.3) several times. Tried Apple Software Update to reinstall it too. Tries it on several other computers too. No luck. I also used another iPhone 6 to test it out, and the problem remained the same.

I am on Windows 10, and i have tried it on Windows 8 too.

Howdy TheValhalla,

It sounds like you are unable to restore your phone with multiple computers for some reason. I would highly suggest the troubleshooting in the following article about USB troubleshooting with iOS devices:

Resolve USB-related alerts in iTunes

If the issue persists, then I would next use the troubleshooting in this article:

iTunes: May become unresponsive when connecting iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
