Why does my new wacom tablet not work with El Capitan?

My old Wacom GD Intuos stopped working when I installed El Capitan, so I went out to buy a brand new Intuos Art drawing tablet.

Sorry to say, eve after the Driver install, my new tablet doesn't work either. What can I do (I also left a message with the Wacom support team)?

I did that about 5 times.

I downloaded the driver, erased the old one, installed it and... Nothing.

After the 5th time, my Wacom Desktop software woke up and now it works!

I suppose the trick is to uninstall all older versions on the Mac before installation and use the software provided to do so (Wacom Tablet Utility).

Thank you for your reply!

I found the trick to install Bamboo driver under El Capitan. First, use Wacom app ( in Wacom file in Apps "repertoire") to uninstall all users preferences and uninstall old driver. Then, reboot and open another user account with administrator rights ( create one if necessary from your main account). Install new driver ( 5.3.6-6 here http://www.wacom.com/support/product-support/drivers?pid=F27CF3DFA7594D5C8F34EE3 D77A17DE7 ). Rebbot and open your "normal" account. Try to open Wacom utility in System preferences. Maybe you'll have to give it a try or two. It works for me. You can install Bamboo dock from your account. You'll find last Bamboo dock version here: http://www.bamboo-apps.com/. Wish that this is helpful.
