Documents not getting imported to iWork

I'm unable to import any of the document from mail to iPad

now let say that I have got a mail check.xlxs and if I try to copy in Numbers then Numbers app get stuck saying importing and it continues to import but never ends and then I have to stop that app

i even tried deleting the app and again reinstalling but even that did not work out

i even reset my device but even that did not work

plz some one help me out
