iPod classic is crashing my computer

One day, I plugged my iPod classic (120gb) on my Macbook and the iTunes crashed.

When I reloaded, it asked me to restore my iPod and I did it exactly what the iTunes suggested, but it kept saying my iPod was corrupted and then totally crashed after it.

Since then, everytime I plug my iPod, not only the iTunes but the whole system crashes and I have to reboot my computer!

The iPod is working ok and I can use it when it's off the computer, but since I had to restore it previously, I lost all my songs and data, and it's useless to try to put any new data inside of it, cause whenever I plug it in, the system crashes and it's the same story all over again.

p.s.: I followed every step in this topic "iTunes: May become unresponsive when connecting iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support", but the problem keeps happening!

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), That's the computer I plug the iPod
