Can't retrieve iTunes match songs.

Ok short version: I lost half an album somehow.

Long version: a few months ago I subscribed to itunes match, which obviously loaded all my music to iCloud. Today I'm trying to download a certain green day album. About a third of the songs on the album download without a problem. The rest refuse to download, bringing up a box telling me I should subscribe to apple music. I don't want apple music, which is why I let it expire. I have no idea why this should be an issue, because I uploaded this album long before apple music was even a thing!!! Also, when I go into 'properties' of the elusive songs, it says they are in fact uploaded to the cloud.

I can't download these songs, nor can I play them right off the cloud. I just receive the same message suggesting that I join apple music. Does anyone out there maybe know what's going on here? I thought I was done with this crappy apple music thing, but apparently it's still haunting me...
