IMEI number missing

Hi, I am trying to find the IMEI number on a iphone 5c, it is not printed on the back where it is supposed to be, the phone is broken and cannot be turned on, any ideas, thank you.

Ask your wireless provider: if the iPhone was ever connected to their network, they will

know the imei or

how to find IMEI, etc

Thanks imobi,I had got hung up on the number not being where it should have been......But yes, they gave me the number straight off, thanks.
