How do I add a store reward card to wallet?

I thought the new IOS and iPhone 6s enables me to add a store card (i.e. supermarket discount card) to Apple Wallet. Instructions are not clear at all. When the window pops up to add the card, how do I photograph the card? Also it has 2 sides with a barcode on back. Is this possible or not?
