So on some podcasts, I keep getting a message that authorization is needed to download the podcasts. No parental restrictions are turned on. Running 12.3

Perhaps it's the Podcaster who has set that requirement, Podcasts do not usually require authorisation.
Which podcast is it and what is the precise message?

I downloaded Fresh Air without any problem. I did manage to download an episode from the Bullseye Podcast, but iTunes states that one of the other episodes, Jon Ronson, cannot be found on the server.
Both Podcasts are from NPR, so I think you should try contacting NPR. Certainly, the episode that cannot be found is down to NPR.
This is an itunes problem.
I get this error message when podcast files are hosted at soundcloud and google.
