Q: Still unable to turn on two-factor authentication even when the Set-up button is present

The 'Setup Two-Factor Authentication' button is present on both my Macbook running OS X El Capitan and iPhone 6S running iOS 9.0.2, but when I click on it on either device I get the message 'Two-factor authentication is not available for your Apple ID at this time'. Anyone else getting this. I thought the setup button only appears once it's available for you to set it up.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.0.2

I have a Mac that shows the "device is trusted and can receive Apple ID verification codes", but a verification code never pops up on it. My iPad/iPhone do receive codes fine though. I even tried removing my Mac as a trusted device, it prompted me to sign into iCloud again, but 2FA codes still don't show up on it.

Also, is there a way to enable 2FA on an Apple Watch?

Two factor enabled not on the device, but on the account. Apple watch is not on the list of the devices that can be trusted devices.

    "

    Trusted devices

A trusted device is an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac using iOS 9 or OS X El Capitan that you've already signed in to using two-factor authentication. It’s a device we know is yours and that can be used to verify your identity by displaying a verification code from Apple when you sign in on a different device or browser."

Thanks! My bigger issue is 2FA codes not showing on my Mac though. :-/
