Q: Hot Spot visible to some, not others

I cannot see my personal hot spot SSID from my laptop, desktop computer, or my wife's hot spot.  I *can* see it on my other mobile devices.

 

Particulars of my device:

 

iPhone 6S Plus

64 Gig

iOS 9.0.2

Sprint

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.0.2

    I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your hotspot. I'm sure we can help you figure this out, but we may need a bit more information on your particular configuration and what you are seeing:

     

    1. I'm assuming that you are creating this hot spot with your iPhone 6s Plus. When you say you can see your hot spot from other mobile devices, which specific devices are you talking about (model, OS, etc)? What exactly is show on these devices?

     

    2. Are you setting up this hotspot as a Personal Hotspot or as an Instant Hotspot, as detailed in this article:

    3. Has this worked previously? If so and if it stopped working recently, has anything about your configuration changed?
