Can apple watch make a sound when not worn?

So, 2 days ago I misplaced my watch during a massive 4 hour house cleaning session and now I can't find it anywhere. I'm kind of freaking out. Is there a way to have my watch make a noise or do anything so I can find it? I can see that it is still connected to my phone so I know I didn't throw it away on accident(I was worried about that for a moment😮). Once I leave my house I can see it's not connected, so I know it's there but I just can't find it.

Does ANYONE know how I can make the watch make a noise when not worn on the wrist. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi

If your watch enters Power Reserve mode (which will happen automatically when the battery gets low), there will be no way to cause it to make any sounds.

In case that has not yet happened, try these steps:

On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app and go to My Watch:

- Passcode > Turn Passcode Off (if you have it enabled).

- General > Wrist Detection > turn off (if you have it enabled).

- Sounds & Haptics > increase both the alert volume and haptic strength settings to the maximum setting (right hand side).

On your iPhone, silence the ringer (use the flip switch on the side) and in Settings > Sounds, disable Vibrate on Silent.

Then place a call to your iPhone (eg from your landline).

Your watch should vibrate and ring (and your iPhone will not, so it will be easier to hear your watch).
