Q: Problems with Word for Mac, in Publishing Layout

I have been using Word for Mac (Publishing Layout) for a couple of years now for publishing our community newsletter, 4 times a year. With the last two issues... I have almost been completed the publication, when the last 2-4 pages start to scramble. I can recreate them... they look fine and then, they scramble after I either print or... pdf, or even just in the saving of them.

These last two issues have been 30+ pages... (yup.. I know, it is more of a magazine!) but wondering if its a limitation of the application or a bug? Can you help... this is driving me crazy. Files are not 'huge'... this one is less that 20 MB's. Not out of line I would think...

I am using the latest updates to both the iMac and Word for Mac.

Anyone?

thanks!

Wendy

It might be worth while to duplicate the documents, deleting only the pages you don't want from one and want to keep in the other.   Then you can print the two separately, if you find there is a limitation.  Should be an easy enough experiment to make.

I've seen my own résumé in Word is finicky enough about tab placements within tables.  Not exactly the easiest layout program in the world, and certainly not always WYSIWYG either.  But I have to deal with employers who only accept Word!
