Configurator could not complete the requested action for “User’s iPad” because of a network error.

I'm trying to update my iPads using Configurator 2 on El Capitan(quite regretting updating both of these at the moment!) and I'm getting the error above, the network is connected fine and network diagnostics come back saying there are no issues. My thoughts are that it might be the proxy my the school I'm at is working behind but I had no issues with the previous Configurator using the same settings so I'm not quite sure what's going on here.

I have heard this happening with iPad Air's in some places. We think it's down to the connection to the activation servers. We also sit behind a proxy. If you pass on the information that Takahiro Kambe gave to you to your network administrators, they should be able to unblock that for you. Alternatively what I've done in the past is tethered my phone to the Mac and let it activate via that.
