Can I add memory to my old iPad

I Have an older iPad and am running out of memory. Is there any way to add capacity (memory) to my 13.1 GB model?

iPad, iOS 7.1.2

You are referring to storage NOT memory. Big difference,

Your storage capacity is getting low.

There is no way to increase this physically in the device.

You would need to purchase a larger storage capacity iPad to get more storage.

That stated, instead of purchasing a new iPad, you could purchase a portable, external, WiFi accessible hard drive that you can store your iPad data to and access the data from the hard drive over Wifi from your iPad using the hard drive makers' special mobile app on your iPad.

These local, portable (mobile) WiFi hard drives are made by Seagate, Western Digital and other drive manufacturers and are a cheaper alternative to purchasing another new iPad.

Or store and/or backup all of your data to iCloud or transfer and access your data over iCloud using iCloud Drive.

And then delete this data off of your iPad once the data has been backed up to iCloud.

Good Luck!
