i Was informed on my iPad that I had won an iPhone 8? Very suspicious when asked for £1 delivery charge, and for my card details, and stopped there! On iCloud I was informed there was a "bug" and they were working on it. Maerie

It was a scam message. Apple even did not manufacture iPhone 7.
If you saw this message in Internet:
Go to Settings - Safari - Clear History and Website Data.
Scam... there is no iPhone 8.
Macworld has some speculation about the iPhone 7 (or whatever it will be called) to be released next year.
I thought that scams could only be activated in mail box, not a weather forecast! Thanks everybody, all sorted......Maerie

This is also very suspicious... there is no " On iCloud " of which I am aware. (no 'forum' or support staff and such)

OK. Easiest way to identify a fraudulent website is whether or not the domain is " apple.com " OR " icloud.com " - not CONTAINS apple or icloud somewhere in it
IF you reached an AppleRealPerson through the process started here > http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/ - your information is likely TRUE (but maybe not the "whole story")

The "bug" to which THEY refer may mean that someone was successful in 'inserting' some fraudulent page content = hacked iCloud.com seems incredible, but stranger things have happened. You may have alerted Apple early on and "Saved The Day" so to speak. 😉
