Add to my Music button not showing up on itunes

I can add music from my iphone music app. But when I find an album in the store in Itunes on my Imac, the only option I get is to pay for it. I don't get the buttons for 'Add to my library'. I have tried closing an restarting Itunes. I have tried logging out and logging back in. Any other advice?
