iMac as a monitor or mirror

can I use 27" 2012 iMac to mirror 2014 MacBook Pro and have them both in sync

or if not

use can I use 27" 2012 iMac as a monitor for 2014 MacBook Pro?

OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3), I restored Pages from Time Machinec
