I have a powerPC 5 with OS 10.4.11. When i click on my network icon in the system folder i get this window popup" your network settings have been changed by another application> How do i get rid of this window?

How do i delete messages that popup when i click on my network icon in the system folder?

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Quit System Preferences if it's open, choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, enter ~/Library/Caches/ as the folder's location, and throw away the item named com.apple.preferencepanes.cache inside.
