Q: Hide iBooks purchase?

I was looking through iBooks and found something that looked interesting; however upon downloading it (it was free), I realized it wasn't what I was looking for. I right-clicked the book icon to Delete it, but it stayed in my library with a button to re-download it. I want to completely get rid of it. Does iBooks have a feature like the Mac App Store does where I can hide purchases?

You can hide ibooks : go to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iBookstore homepage, hover your mouse pointer over the book that you want to hide and an 'x' should show on its top left corner, click on that to hide it : Hide and unhide purchases in iTunes or iBooks on your Mac or PC - Apple Support

Make sure you are logged into iBooks prior to deleting a book.

From the iBooks menu bar click Store > Sign In

Then right or control click the book then click Delete.

Yes, I've been logged in the whole time—I attempted to delete the book literally minutes after I downloaded it. Signing out and back in does nothing to help.

Aha! Thank you. I figured how to do this in the Mac App Store a while ago using the Purchases tab, but because the iBooks Store is set up differently, it didn't occur to me to look for the Purchases here.
