Q: Whatspp gives me black screen then shut itself down

Whatsapp has been having slow reaction time recently. Today it kept giving me a black screen then shut itself down even after I've restart the app and my iphone 5 several times. The situation is the same after upgrading to latest iOS 9, turn off iCloud backup, background app refresh, notification group by app. I checked I didn't syn contact with facebook. Does anyone has the same issue? Anyone knows the reason or what should I do? Thanks.
