Access to The Times mytimes+ since the latest ipad software update

I am a subscriber to The Times but since the latest ipad software update, I am no longer able to access the Mytimes+ site.

A message appears NO ACCESS

I have tried the Times on-line chat and they say I have to do the following:

Click on 3 dashes at top right of computer

Click on history in menu on left

Click on Clear Browsing data on the bottom

The browser cache should now be empty

Does anyone know if this works and how to do it

iPad, iOS 7.0.4

Hi piedpied,

I'm sorry to hear you are having this issue with your iPad and this website. I'm not clear if the Times on-line support was clear that you were using an iPad, but if you would like more information on clearing website data in Safari for iOS, you may find the following article helpful:

Clear information from your device

To clear your history and cookies from Safari in iOS 8, tap Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. In iOS 7 or earlier, tap Clear History and tap Clear Cookies and Data.

To clear other stored information from Safari, tap Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data.

To visit sites without leaving a history, turn on private browsing.

Cheers
