I'm having a few problems with the screen on my iPhone 5s. It's freezing

The screen isn't responding in the area around the bottom right hand corner, scrolling through web pages. It lets you scroll right down to the bottom, and just near the end it will freeze, and then kick me back to the start of the page. Tap on an email to view it, iPhone will swipe it left & delete it. All since the update to iOS 9.2. My phone worked perfectly well up until that point. Anybody know of a solution to the problem?

Hi Jazz1978,

Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.

It seems like your iPhone touchscreen isn't responding correctly in the bottom right hand corner, and this started after updating iOS.

First, try these troubleshooting tips from If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch.

Check your touchscreen

Make sure that your hands are clean and dry, then try these steps:

  1. If you have a case or screen protector on your device, try removing it.
  2. Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
  3. Unplug your device.
  4. Restart your device. If you can't restart it, you can force restart your device.

If your touchscreen still doesn't respond like it should, contact Apple Support or take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.

Sincerely.
