lost itunes gift card

I bought a $25 itunes gift cards from Target last night and it was not in the bag when I got home. I have the receipt with the card# but obviously don't have the scratch-off activation number that's on the card. Is there any way to replace the card or activate it with the card# from the receipt?

You would have to be in possession of the card to utilize this site:

Have you contacted Target?

My guess is that unless you return to the specific register you checked out at, and some kind service employee, or manager specifically made a note of a card left behind, you may be out of luck.

However, you may have some case since you have a receipt, I would go back and ask in person.
