Oct 17, 2015 8:23 AM in response to changoloveby Jaredtimmins,★HelpfulI had the same problem I fixed it by downreving the software the the release version syncing the magic trackpad 2 and then upgrading the software and everything now works great. Some thing in the beta is either not recognizing the trackpad or recognizing it as a mighty mouse I had both issues. Works on multiple machines tested this fix on my 5k iMac and Macbook 13in retina pro (fully loaded) and both work perfectly now....Downgrade to the released version of El Capitan and then sync your track pad it will register properly then you can upgrade again and it will hold....
