Mac not turning on

I shut down my Mac book pro now when I try to turn it on I get a white screen with the apple in the middle. There is a bar on the bottom that looks like it trying to load something .. After two seconds it powers done. Any suggestions ??

Hi,

Try Safe mode. Try safe mode if your Mac doesn't finish starting up - Apple Support

If that fails, start up in Recovery mode by holding down the Command and R keys together while booting, then choose Disk Utility to check or repair your startup disk.
