Q: Unable to Transfer Purchases from Device iTunes 12

I tried to follow the instructions of this article(Redownload or transfer your iTunes Store purchases from an iPhone, iPad or iPod to a computer - Apple Support)

but I can't transfer my purchases from my iPod Touch (5th Gen, iOS 9.0.2) to iTunes. I tried:

  • factory resetting my iPod and restoring from iCloud backup
  • I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes
  • tried 2 different (authentic) lightning cables
  • deauthorized and reauthorized my computer through iTunes
  • and am considering trying Black Magic because I'm at the end of my wits.

I am able to sync apps and music from my device as well as make an iTunes backup.

Anybody have any suggestions?
