iPad 2, iOS 9.0.2 crash

Due to the iOS 9.0.2 update, the newer generation of iDevices have improved. The older generations though have somewhat degraded to something like a collection of devices that are just junk. You see my iPad, which is the 2nd generation, has constantly crashed apps after the update was applied. This is a huge problem because I play a lot of games that require servers; before they were like my top favorites and slowly becoming the worst. Let me give you an example, the famous game Brave Frontier was one of my favorite games and I don't want to spend more money on gems to restore my energy just because the app crashes while I'm on a quest. Another one could be Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft because once you have lethal and the app crashes, you are basically going to lose that chance of winning. I fear that Apple are ignoring the older generations. Is there any ways that could fix this issue permanently? How do we get Apple-senpai to notice the older versions more to fix the issue?

(Tip to everyone who owns an iPad 2: Don't upgrade to iOS 9.0.2)

Greetings Th3Almigh7y,

It sounds like you are having an issue with some apps on your iPad becoming unresponsive or quitting unexpectedly since updating your operating system to iOS 9.0.2. Is that correct?

I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article - If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open.

Try resetting All Settings found in the Settings App under General and in the right column under Reset.

Try resetting histories and deleting/resetting caches in all of the web browsers you use.

Try turning on Reduced Motion.

This is found in the Settings App in the General tab the left panel.

In the right panel look under Accessibility, the look for Reduce Motion and turn this feature "On".

You should see an appreciable performance increase on all iPad 2, 3 and 4 models.

Try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.

Good Luck!
