apple pay cutting off sides of the screen?

Has anyone experienced problems with the screen settings and Apple Pay? When the display setting is set to standard and I look at Apple Pay, both sides of the cards and the explanation text on the bottom of the screen is cut off. If I change the display setting to zoomed, it shows it correctly. I worked with Apple Support via a chat and they told me that was normal. I have a hard time believing that. They had me reset the phone. After I did (of course I lost my password and touch ID settings, Apple Pay settings, etc.) I went into Apple Pay (wallet to be precise) and the screen displayed correctly. But as soon as I added a card, the issue arose again.

The next trouble shooting step suggested was to go visit a Genius bar. That is planned, but I wonder if anyone else has had this problem? I also wonder if it had to do when I originally set up the iPhone 6s, I chose the display setting of zoomed. After looking at it, I tried standard and kept that. But the Wallet App is backwards...

Anyone else have this issue?
