Can't you just type between the two letters as explained above?

Just installed Telugu and Hindi (transliteration) keyboards in my iPhone 6. I liked Hindi transliteration keyboard. Is there similar one in Telugu as well?

If I use Telugu keyboard (regular, provided as is) - how do I type words that start with vowels like amma, akka, ikkada illy etc.?

I can't find any place where it explains what you mean by vaththulu. Could you provide another explanation of your problem by referring to what is shown for example at

please provide examples of what you can't make.

I don't understand how you could not be able to type those. They are just the vowel signs, you find them over at the left end of the keyboard.

The first one on the list (ka) has its own key over at the right.

The second one on the list (kaa) is typed by pressing the ka key on the right and then the aa key on the left

The third one on the list (ki) is typed by pressing the ka key on the right and then the i key on the left.

Please give a specific example of one which you cannot type.

I have an ipad instead of an iphone. Does your keyboard not have the vowels over at the left like mine does?
