How to install DirectX 11 on Windows 10?

Question

How can I install DirectX 11 on Windows 10? I am using a Bootcamp install on an Apple iMac11,1 (graphics card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4850).

dxdiag.exe reports DirectX 10.1 installed, and Windows Update reports system up-to-date.

I tried contacting Microsoft Answer Desk, they ended the chat after directing me to a third-party site that was not helpful at all.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), BC'ed with Windows 10

Turns out, the ATI Mobility Radeon doesn't support DirectX 11, only up to 10.1

That's why Windows Update wouldn't install it.
