Q: FaceTime says No Camera Available after upgrade to El Capitan

I just tried to use FaceTime for the first time after upgrading to El Capitan and it says No Camera Available. I'm using a 2015 Macbook Pro and an earlier Thunderbolt display.

I verified the camera on the display is working by opening up Photo Booth.
I've signed out and back into iCloud in FaceTime preferences
I've restarted my Macbook
I ran out of ideas

What else should I try?

A:

Found my issue. The wrong camera was selected from the Video menu in the Facetime App. Once I selected the Facetime Camera for the display instead of the built in one, everything worked as expected.

Unfortunately not. I'm going to install the 10.11.1 update that was just released and see if that makes a difference. If it does, I'll let you know.
