Q: FaceTime says No Camera Available after upgrade to El Capitan
I just tried to use FaceTime for the first time after upgrading to El Capitan and it says No Camera Available. I'm using a 2015 Macbook Pro and an earlier Thunderbolt display.
- I verified the camera on the display is working by opening up Photo Booth.
- I've signed out and back into iCloud in FaceTime preferences
- I've restarted my Macbook
- I ran out of ideas
What else should I try?
Thanks
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11)

Found my issue. The wrong camera was selected from the Video menu in the Facetime App. Once I selected the Facetime Camera for the display instead of the built in one, everything worked as expected.
