Q: pro 9.2 upgrade ram

What is the limit i can upgrade my Macbook pro 13" medio 2012 (macbook pro 9.2) in the department of ram? im gonna use this laptop for programs like photoshop for study after winter. Some places they say just upgrade to 16gb ram, other places says that 8gb is the maximum that my particular macbook can handle. I would really like to upgrade for the 16 gb, but i have to know wether its an option.

If you go beyond the limits Apple says Apple supports, it is important that the Mac-Centric vendor you choose provide assurances:

"It works in your Mac,

or your money back."

Otherwise you could end up owning excellent, working RAM -- that does not happen to work in your Mac.

And you are 100% sure? MacBook Pro: How to remove or install memory - Apple Support this site just say 8gb maximum.

i bought some from crucial, after looking a bit around. They seemed like the most reliable company for Macbook, i also bought a samsung evo 850 500gb ssd. Now i just have to wait....
Thank you for the reply, it was nice to know that i can go beyond the limits apple set out.
