Q: Pay on Watch does not use card loaded into Pay on iPhone

When I go to the Passbook & Pay section of the Watch app on my iPhone, it is set to "Mirror my iPhone" so why isn't the card there?

    Hi

Payment cards need to be added separately to each device. Adding cards to your iPhone does not automatically add them to your Apple Watch (they are not supposed to sync or be mirrored). The Mirror option relates to notifications about Apple Pay usage on your iPhone.

To add cards to Apple Pay on your watch, follow the instructions below:

I followed the following steps listed in those instructions:

Even if you already set up Apple Pay on your iPhone or iPad, you need to add your payment cards to your Apple Watch using the Watch app on your iPhone. Unlock your Apple Watch, then use these steps to set up Apple Pay.

To add a card that's already on your iPhone:

    1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone and tap the My Watch tab.
    2. Scroll down and tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
    3. Tap Add next to the card that you want to add.
    4. Enter the card security code.
    5. Tap Next. Your bank will verify your information and decide if you can add your card to Apple Pay. If they need more information, they'll ask you to provide additional verification. You can verify your card any time after you've added it to the Watch app on your iPhone. Just return to the app, tap the card, tap Enter Code, then follow the instructions.
    6. After your card is verified, tap Next. You'll receive a notification on your Apple Watch that your card is ready for Apple Pay. Then you can start using Apple Pay with your Apple Watch.

But the card was not listed as Step 3 says it should be.

    OK, I entered it manually.
