What does the post-repair warranty cover?

I recently took my MacBook Pro in for repair (the cable connecting the airport card). After the repair was done, I was reminded that all repairs have a 90-day warranty on them. I'm just curious what is covered with that warranty. I ask because I asked the Genius that if I needed the actual airport card replaced, would that be covered ("of course"), even though it was not the original repair. Now, my speakers are shot and I'd like them replaced, but worry about the repair cost and would love them to be covered.

Cheers for the help.

The initial warranty in the US covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year. If you bought the Applecare extension, that is extended to three years. Beyond that, you would have to pay the flat rate cost of the repair.

If you had work done to a particular subsystem, and it fails to perform as expected within 90 days of the repair, it will be repaired again at Apple's expense. This is a warranty on the repair and related items, not on your entire computer.
