Q: Macbook linked to wrong phone for iMessage, FaceTime and Contacts
Hi All...I hope you can help!
I would like to stop my Macbook Pro from using my hubby's iPhone for iMessage, FaceTime and Contacts in Apple Mail...I am getting all his messages on my Macbook in iMessage, FaceTime is linked with his iPhone...so I can't FaceTime him from my Macbook and the emails in Apple Mail are showing as coming to "My Wife" instead of to my Gmail acc name.
Few fun facts;
- OSX 10.10.5...not sure what else is relevant in this department
- I have a Samsung Note3 which is synced to the Macbook through Gmail accounts (x4 of our Gmail accounts syncing) and music synced with iSync...that all works fine
- We share an Apple ID account and I sync/update all of our devices with the Macbook Pro
- The phone number stored on our Apple ID is my Samsung phone number not his iPhone number...but iMessage etc. is still syncing with his iPhone number
- I have installed Google Talk on my Samsung Note3...which STILL won't group message so tips on that would be good!
- Also have an iPad
- I have logged all of the devices out of iMessage and FaceTime and tried to just log in to iMessage on the Macbook but his messages still show up
- My Samsung phone number on our Apple ID online settings does not show in iMessage settings it is his iPhone number
- Google Talk accounts are not showing in iMessage
Any help or advice on how to have this all working smoothly??
