Upgrading icloud storage

What happens when you are sharing your photos and music with someone who has a credit card on file. Every time I try and upgrade icloud it puts in the person I am sharing with financials information and I am not sure how to bypass this to put in my own information without sharing with that person.

Greetings kgpeaches,

From your description of what is happening, it sounds like your are using the same Apple ID as this other person. The owner of the Apple ID can change the payment method for purchases, including iCloud upgrades, made with that Apple ID by following the steps in this article - Change or remove your Apple ID payment information in the iTunes Store.

Apple IDs are meant to be used by only one person. There are other ways of sharing content than by actually using the same Apple ID for multiple people, such as Family Sharing and iCloud Photo Sharing. Another person with the same Apple ID, for instance, would have access to the entire contents of your iCloud Drive.
