The "using Siri while connected to Bluetooth in my car triggers iTunes auto play on IOS 9.2" is obviously a real thing. I did a Google search and downgraded to IOS 9.1. However, the 9.2 backup I had just created was not visible for restore. In fact, the most current one was from last February.
Could some try IOS 9.2.1 Beta and see if the fix is in?
Good idea, and I hope it does fix it. I can't believe I am still dealing with Bluetooth issues with their own brand of headphones with the iPhone 5S. How sad is that?

Dec 23, 2015 8:07 AM in response to Telexxby NOYB111,After iOS 9.2 update my Kia Sorento 2014 bluetooth connection kept failing. It would connect for a bit and then drop or I would get a loud noise through audio. It happened every time I was in my car. I tried to downgrade to 9.1 but Apple is not signing that version anymore. So I turned off bluetooth on my phone and then went into the phone settings within my car stereo and deleted the bluetooth iPhone device from my car audio. I rebooted my phone, turned on bluetooth and then re-paired my phone with my car audio system. I have had no issues in the last two days knock on wood....

Yeah, when I have a problem with the headphones, I can "forget the device" and "re-pair it". The issue is that the problem will come back within the same day. It's intermittent. Usually occurs after just skipping a track in Tidal. Seems to be issues with numerous devices all via Bluetooth. I really hope Apple patches this soon. Also having similar issues in the car with the Pioneer stereo. I just try not to skip tracks as much as I can. Such a headache.

Dec 26, 2015 2:33 PM in response to s2975by gboy72,I have just updated to 9.2 2 weeks ago on my iphone 6. Now i have no bluetooth or wifi unless i am in direct view of router or headset.
Have been into the apple store and wasted lots of time through apple support and got nowhere!!
Apple just don't want to no there is a problem!
Disappointed is an understatement!

Dec 26, 2015 4:18 PM in response to s2975by dMode72,I have the same issue since having upgraded to iOS 9.2 with both, my car stereo and my Plantronics Backbeat Fit Bluetooth headphones. I can listen to music though AD2P, but no sound when switchin to a phone call.
I have tested my wife's 5s still pending to be upgraded to 9.2 and everything works perfectly.
Please, Apple engineers solve this big issue ASAP. I drive daily and having no hands free function is really disappointing. Now, in order to drive safely I simply don't answer any phone call when driving. But then, why I spent a lot o money for have the hands free feature when driving? Or even when doing some sports? I can't understand such a big mistake from Apple.

Dec 27, 2015 1:06 AM in response to dMode72by gboy72,I run a courier business so need bluetooth all the time. The phone now won't connect to my 15 plate van or any other headset device. Yet all the other apple devices i own will, as running the old software. All Apple said is there is no problem with 9.2.
They will not accept that my phone worked before the update with no issue what so ever.
Why can't they just admit there is a problem and fix it!!!!
There customer service *****!!

Dec 27, 2015 8:29 AM in response to s2975by JA19525,My work iPhone 5S with IOS 9.1 still works fine on all bluetooth. My personal iPhone 6S running IOS 9.2 no longer works correctly for bluetooth. It did work fine on IOS 9.1. I tried to downgrade to 9.1 but it seems to be too late. I have tried deleting the phone from my truck's system, deleting the truck from my phone and re-doing the pairing process. That didn't work either. Today I turned off Siri and that seems to work. So until Apple fixes the problem I have to choose to have a fully functioning iPhone or a fully functioning bluetooth system in my vehicle. Since it's a pain to get back to whatever I was listening to in my truck after I've completed my phone calls, the choice has to be to leave Siri turned off. This has taught me not to do any more IOS upgrades until I can be sure that there will be no issues like this one has turned out to be.. The GM dealership has no audio system upgrades, or software patches to address this one..

Dec 28, 2015 3:21 PM in response to s2975by JoeyP_UK,Hi All,
I have been having Bluetooth issues since upgrading to iOS 9.2 on my iPhone 6S and it working in my car. I did some research and testing and have managed to get my iPhone working in my car this evening!!!
Try the following -
1. Switch off Bluetooth
2. Switch off WIFI
3. Switch of Siri
4. Log out of iCloud
5. In Settings, General, Reset - Click on "Reset Network Settings"
Wait for your iPhone to reset itself and then reconnect to your Car's Bluetooth system and hopefully everything should be back working as normal!!!

Dec 30, 2015 4:53 AM in response to JoeyP_UKby mdesignffm, hmmm, basically this should be the same as unpairing your bluetooth device. you can do this in the bluetooth menu of settings. afterwards, you pair again.
with my bluetooth remote problem, i tried this several times - with no effect.
reseting network settings completely will also erase all my wifi passwords, so i will have to enter them manually again wherever i go. i am not willing (ie too lazy) to do this unless this cure is really proven helpful. so, who had bluetooth connection problems after 9.2, did the reset and reestablished good bluetooth connection?
thank you!

Dec 31, 2015 7:33 AM in response to NOYB111by chazcron,It seems unconscionable that Apple would disable certifying a 9.1 downgrade, even if they don't officially support it in light of what has happened with in-car bluetooth connectivity issues. I am glad I managed to downgrade before they disabled certifying.

Dec 31, 2015 7:47 AM in response to chazcronby JA19525,I was really disappointed to find that I could not downgrade to 9.1. My bluetooth worked perfectly with the exception of when I would complete the phone task, the vehicle audio system returned to my phone music rather than whatever I had been listening to before placing/receiving a call. With Siri turned off all is working as it did before 9.2 except of course that Siri is no longer available. I have found on some other blogs that the auto manufacturers are working on a fix so I will be patient and hopeful. Bottom line is that I will no longer blindly do IOS upgrades until it's been out there awhile and I am comfortable that it works as intended..

Jan 4, 2016 9:13 PM in response to s2975by Craigb17,My sue is that I can make and receive phone calls ok but during the call the Bluetooth connection continually drops out and reconnects which is extremely frustrating as my phone is a business phone and the majority of my calls are work related.

Jan 6, 2016 11:02 AM in response to s2975by JonBruc,I got a new bluetooth adapter, and it really helped with my connection issues, although mine were related to playing music, not voice calls.
Heres the adapter I got: http://amzn.to/1JuxfVZ
