couldn't find News apps after updating iOS9.0.2 on Iphone 5

If you are unable to find an item such as the News app on your iPhone, use Spotlight to find it for you . See this article for more information about using Spotlight - Use Search on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

If you used Newsstand under iOS 8, you will see the Newsstand folder in iOS 9. See this article - About News and Newsstand.

Language & Region needs to be set to the U.S. for you to have News.
