can't install Spotify -- says "Power PC apps no longer supported"

I download Spotify from their web site and install, but the app has the circle and bar through it and when one tries to launch one gets the error "Power PC apps no longer supported". I know Apple hates Spotify, but do you have to be this childish about it? Come on.
