I bought a new Macbook Pro and Microsoft Office - Arabic font STILL does not work. Letters do not join. Can anyone who has actually solved this problem advise me. I prefer to use the Arabic-PC keyboard if possible. Thank you.

MS Office has never supported Arabic, its best to use some other app, like TextEdit, Pages, Mellel, Nisus, LibraOffice.
Word for Mac 2016 does join letters, but still has problems with cursor and paragraph control
A workaround is to use an Arabic document created in Windows word, ios Word, or Word Online as a template. When imported to your Mac, it may work OK with Word for Mac.
