Dell UP2114Q - brightness setting

Hi,

i'm using the Dell UP2114Q (4K) as external monitor with OS X 10.11. The MacBook is closed.

Why it's not possible, to change the monitor brightness via keyboard (F1, F2)?

Under Windows via BootCamp it works fine.

I took this monitor, since it was specially named by Apple as a supported 4K display.
