iOS 9.0.2 calendar not working

I have been using the Calendar App for years and it was always solid as a rock. Not any more. The latest updates have made it screwy - cannot touch a date with an event on it half the time. This really *****. I have to use the calendar on my iMac and hope it updates the iPod.
