how to get rid of perfetnight app

I just discovered a Perfetnight folder in my Applications folder. It was installed along with Advanced Mac Cleaner, WebShopper, and ZipCloud at the same time, I discovered by arranging all applications according to Date Modified. There is a discussion on how to remove Advance Mac Cleaner at uninstall advanced mac cleaner. Notice there that someone--possibly from Advanced Mac Cleaner, or maybe one of its suckers--has also posted an answer, which directs you to their own website; I wouldn't trust it, or any uninstaller associated with Advanced Mac Cleaner or Perfetnight. Advanced Mac Cleaner placed itself in the User's Login items. BTW when I looked in the Applications Folder at the Perfetnight folder there, I opened the folder to see its contents; there was an uninstaller there, which I did not use; instead, I just closed the folder, and--guess what?--poof, the folder disappeared. And, what AV were you using?

The search.perfernight extension appeared my Google chrome recently. I tried many of the answers, but none of them worked.

Here is how I uninstalled it:

1. Open a new tab in Google chrome.

2. Click on the home button or go to search.perfernight.

3. Under the search bar, click about.

4. In the about section, click uninstall.

5. Download the uninstaller.

6. Follow the steps.

7. It may ask for your password. It is okay to enter it.

8. It should be uninstalled.

9. Enjoy searching without search.perfernight.
