Q: iOS 9 do I install it?

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on iOS 9. Seen so many issues with bugs in this iOS that I have held off updating to it. Would people recommend updating or staying on iOS 8.

iPhone 6, iOS 9

My podcast app was "stabilized" from zero seconds to five seconds. Then it still crashes every time. I can't believe how bad this has been since updating to 9.0. I loved my podcasts and am very disappointed that Apple has not found a fix, or simply reverted to the working version, to repair these ongoing problems.

    Do NOT update!

9.0.2 solved my Podcasts app crashes.

My guess is there's some sort of general OS stability issue - people find that doing a total erase and starting with a "clean" iOS solves the problem. That seems extreme, but I remember the pre-OS X days when we had to do that with the desktop Mac OS!

HI, sorry if I sound daft here but how do you mean a clean install? do you mean erase the phone, reload the backup then do the update?

Erase the phone and do the update (no backup or additional apps), then test. (If you restore from backup, you may be reloading the same bad data you had before.)

Alternately, you might try deleting/unsubscribing from podcasts to see if it's a problem with damaged podcast data. Some people are finding that to be a problem.
